Kwara CP Unveils Renovated Police Division, Urges Officers to Improve Service Delivery
Kwara State Commissioner of Police Ojo Adekimi has commissioned the renovated 'C' Division Police Station in Ilorin, calling on officers to embrace professionalism, strengthen community policing, and improve service delivery.
The Commissioner of Police in Kwara State, CP Ojo Adekimi, has commissioned the newly renovated 'C' Division Police Station in Oja-Oba, Ilorin, charging officers to reciprocate the improved working environment with greater professionalism, discipline, and enhanced service delivery to the public.
The commissioning ceremony, held in the state capital, underscored the Nigeria Police Force's renewed emphasis on community policing and the modernization of policing infrastructure to improve operational efficiency and public confidence. Speaking during the inauguration, CP Adekimi described the renovated police station as more than just a physical upgrade, saying it represents a shared commitment between the police and the community to strengthen security across Kwara State.

"The transformation of this facility is a demonstration of the importance of police-community partnership in strengthening security and enhancing policing infrastructure," Adekimi said during the ceremony.

The commissioner commended the Divisional Police Officer of the station, DSP Saliu Abdulganiyu Kayode, for his leadership and dedication throughout the renovation project.
